First snake spotted!

Whilst playing in one of our 'Major' golf competitions yesterday we were looking for one of my playing partner's golf balls.

Just walking along the edge of some bushes and I heard a rustling sound in the grass, and low and behold I just caught site of the tail end of a snake disappearing into the longer grass.

This is the third time in three years I have spotted a snake on my golf course.

So the next time you go into the grass/bushes to look for a golf ball be careful!

Jay, I didn't find the ball, but it wasn't mine although we did carry on looking for the ball.

I'm not afraid of snakes so seeing one is more of a pleasure to me, I do like the nature on my course.
