Entering 9 holes twice?

Posted by: user40805 | Thu 19th Apr 2007 19:57 | Last Reply

If you've only played 9 holes can you enter the same score for the back 9 as your front 9 to make it trackable in your handicap score?

Would this be fair or even accurate?

Or possibly keep your first card handy then when you play again record the two rounds as one round with the second card being the back 9....Maybe...

Its up to you.  I wouldn't include partial rounds for handicap tracking but if you only ever play 9 holes and you want to track handicap then doubling the points score is probably best way to do it.  Need to be careful what score you enter for each hole noting the par and SI I guess.

i think doing that might not be a true representation of a full round,as for myself,i nearly always complete the back nine in less strokes, sometimes a lot less, like ten strokes in some cases.so you may be doing yourself a disservice.
