Another GIR Question

Posted by: user50354 | Wed 11th Apr 2007 08:51 | Last Reply

Just a thought but can the site software work out the GIR's or do we have to physically take notes when playing.

By this I mean if on a par 4 I enter a score of 5 with 2 putts then I will of took 3 shots to the green hence not in regulation - would the system realise this when I enter shot 5 and putts 2.

Similarly if on a par 4 I enter 4 shots and 2 putts will the sytem realise I have GIR'd

Or even if on a par 4 I enter 3 shots and 1 putt I have birdied and GIR'd ( I know I am dreaming here)

Or do I need to tell the system I have GIR'd

Jus trying to work out what notes I need to record each round.

Me being lazy a few years back, yes the system could work it out but at present you have to record and enter it.

I'm working on some additional stats so will see if this can be automated.

Also I'm working on a way to make it easier to track the stats on your round.
