North vs South photos - Casio EX-FH25

Posted by: user8 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Tue 13th Apr 2010 20:21 | Last Reply

I'm still testing and unfortunately didn't take everyone's photo yesterday.  I'm currently trialling the Casio EX-FH25 camera, which I will soon feature and provide info on via Golfshake, that is capable of taking high speed photos up to 40 frames per second and also high speed video at 1000fps

Yesterday I took a number of pics which I will shortly upload but check out this shot pre impact, more can be found here temporarily http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/darren.ramowski/NorthVsSouth2010

His shaft is too soft, it flexed too soon.......

Cool pic though!

Interesting Chris, it's the only photo I've seen like this so will check the others, only 700!  Will then do some more testing.

The sequence shots are pretty breathtaking actually Darren.  Be interesting to see if Chris' theory is correct, I'll send you an e-mail tomorrow with some suggestions as to how we can test it and get some further info from it.  Should be a piece of cake to work out the various rotational speeds of the hands, shaft and head.

Shame it wasn't quick enough to capture my winning put on the 18th though...

Don't worry James, only the best golfers were able to hit that ditch off the tee.....

On the photos of me you can see me laughing before I've even finished the follow through because I know I've done the same thing

Interesting, just had a quick look at the pics of me and it looks like I've got a ball speed of about 110 mph just off the tee decaying to about 101 mph just over 2m out.  Initially fooled by the difference in shutter speed and maximum frame rate - and yes things are quiet this afternoon
