At this time of year a small event takes place in Yorkshire.
It is a Birthday Bash.
Colin, a good friend of mine shares the same day as me, though not the year. Two other friends celebrate their birthdays in early April too so we play a West v East Yorkshire Match. This year it was played at Alwoodley in Leeds and we 'Wessies' won.
It is nothing like the NvS though, hope I might play in that next time.

Might look at a "Presidents Cup" type thing, East v West, a Roses battle?
