Shot shaping

To all you low handicappers out there (infact to all of you) do you all know how to shape your shots ? ie: hit draws and fades when needed to approaching a green ??

I have never tried to execute these shots as I just worry about hitting the ball straight and towards the green (best option for me), but I figure these are the type of things that a low handicappers has in their bag of tricks to help them get up and down....

Thanks David, thats definatlely true, at the moment Im usually scoring a few pars, alot of bogeys and the occasional double b's too.  I just wondered about this cus on one hole i was playing one of the guys actually said watch me fade this ball onto the green where the flag is and truely so thats what he did.  Its great to be able to do that (well he does play off a low handicap like you do too. he plays off 6).  However Im sure this takes alot of practice and patience, something I cant cope with at the mo....but its great when you see it, and better when you can do it...

Great advise as usual Guys, think my existing clubs still have plenty of years left in them still, plus im sure it will still take quite a while for me to reach a good level until i go splash out on some new ones ...
