What distance would you expect?

Posted by: user266147 | Mon 5th Apr 2010 23:30 | Last Reply

My current bag configuration is made up of a driver which I can hit 250 yds, a 5w (220) and a 23 degree mixuno rescue (200). My irons start at a 4 which I rarely use but when hit well can hit about 180.

I hit a much higher percentage of shots well with my rescue than with my 5w so have been thinking about getting a 17 degree mizuno rescue to replace the 5w although I'm not sure what sort of distance advantage this would give me over the 23 degree. Any ideas?

Also this would leave my bag devoid of any fairway woods, although I'm not sure this is particularly a problem. Any thoughts?

Matt if you can hit those yardages with your handicap I would be getting a new putter mate.
