Taylor Made Tour Prefered?

As you may see in another post I have lost my 7 iron and if another one doesn't turn up at a reasonable price may end up just buying another set.
I have been offered a set of demo TM tour preffered irons 2009 model at £250 which is a good price but am wondering if anyone has used them and what they think. Im also wondering if they may be a little to hard to hit and may be suited to low handicappers.
