K1 Driver

Ya know the one...Slazenger K1 speed stick with that double kick shaft and knife technology etc etc..
Apparently there are two types out there - one of which has "k1" marking on the club face. Although it is not mentioned on the golf channel advert the R and A have this listed as a non - conforming driver after 01/01/08...
Interesting...:-)...Best check it out before making that purchase..

The thing is, Chris, that unless someone is checking to see if anyone is playing with illegal clubs, then it will not make a difference to anyone in the amateur game. The illegality is only because the club does not meed the criteria for the Pro game.
