kids golf driver ???Help anyone please !!

This may probably be a bit of a bizzare question but I cant seem to find a decent driver for 6 year old son.  Hes currently using a standrad young guns set driver but its not brilliant and you can tell the distance he achieves compared to the older boys he plays with differs (not due to his techniqiue or the fact that they are much older) but im sure its due to the fact they use a better driver - simply becase you can get the better drivers for shall we say juniors aged 8+.  I did think about buying one and cutting it down to size but just kinda seems wrong to do that especially as my son has only just turned 6 last week or so plus hes not the tallest of kids either.  Hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction - if not - thanks for reading anyway.

Dont cut down an adult club, when you do that, you're basically making a really stiff shaft.

My boy uses the american kids 3 wood. If you go to there website, you can see what size he needs.

local pro says leave it he will grow into it !! prob is i reckon that wont be for at least another 6-8months - probably be too cold to take him out then....lol

 anyways i just managed to pick up what i think will be ok from jjb sports was only a tenner and the guy was nice enough to say he would take it back if we didnt like it anyway....
