When you sign up you can specify your current handicap, which will be used as your starting handicap on the golfscoretracker site.

The handicap is then calculated and adjusted after each round you enter.

If you do not set a starting handicap then the golfscoretracker system will calculate your handicap after entering 3 qualifying rounds.

Should you wish to alter your round at any time then you can make manual adjustments from the maintenance screen. Select maintenance, then adjust handicap this allows you to manual alter. Any rounds added after this will be calculated taking into account the manual adjustment.

Hope this makes sense.

Darren.

Hi, this will only be 28 (36 for women) until golfscoretracker calculates your handicap for you. The strokes is also only used on calculating stableford points and doesn't have any bearing on the handicap.

Therefore would suggest you change.

If you have an handicap but golfscoretracker hasn't yet calculated, waits for 3 valid card first, you can enter a manual adjustment in the maintenance section.

Darren.
