Priors Winter League (Game 2)

The second game in the Priors Winter League takes place this coming Sunday, 15th November 2009.

It it taking place on the Priors Course at Stapleford Abbotts GC, with the first tee off time being 11am.  We have five tee times booked.

You do not need to join the Winter League to play in this event, everyone is welcome.

We also hold a Stableford Game, a par three challenge and a mystery five game.

The cost is £20 for the golf, which includes a tea/coffee on arrival.

At the moment we have thirteen players registered to play.

Hi all,

Tomorrow is the second game in the Priors Winter League.

Our first tee time is 11am but please be there early as we might be able to tee off quicker than we planned.

The weather is going to be cloudy, with showers.  Temperature of 13C and winds blowing at 17mph, but gusting to 50mph!

Bring your wet gear and be prepared to carry your bag, with all the rain we've had over the last two or three days they may have a trolley ban on.

Remember that there is a tea/coffee included in the price, and the chef will be there to feed you.

I'll be there around 10:15 so come and find me when you get there and I'll be able to sort the green fee/competition money out.

I have tried to send this message to everyone who put there name down for this game but the search for a member isn't working for me!

Well what a complete transformation from yesterday's weather!

Rain and gale force winds yesterday.

So I'm sat here now ready for my Priors Winter League (PWL) game and the sun is shining and there is no wind, how can that be?

There is no trolley ban so if you are coming along then bring your wheels.

See you there and never say I don't know how to order good weather.
