Golf in 2010 - British Dominance
Until I get round to adding comments to news articles I thought I would pose the question here given the recent discussions on Fisher et al
With the recent success from a number of players is this the start of a fantastic 2010 in Golf for the British players ?

Years ago (not too many though) it was concidered a good showing by a British player to finish in the top ten of a Major. Now we are looking for Winners.
2010 - Harrington, McIlroy, Fisher, Poulter, Westwood & even Casey have a chance of at least one Major.

Why not Wayne, if my Hcp was based on my spelling, I'd be about a 20.

I think thats splitting hairs - I'll get behind McIlroy and Harrington, they are not continental europe or US, they seem to be great guys and thats good enough for me!

Wayne, your right and to think I even use a spell checker with you on my back!
Good spot and sorry for the editorial glitch. I've updated the content now but yes I agree McIlroy and Harrington do seem more like home grown talent in the UK.
Not to split hairs McIlroy is from Northern Ireland.
5 British players in the Top 20 world golf ranking and 9 Europeans in the Top 20.
