There is a law of motion upon which every efficient golf swing is founded. It states once you create force, if you can influence the direction of that force, you can influence the direction of what the force is applied to.

Think you'll find a bloke called Newton thought that one up Wayne - mind you it was his third effort. Basically for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, couple that with the second law (F = ma) and hey presto - golf!
