1st game today since 1st October last year. When i left the course the ground was baked hard, no grass and the ball went for miles. Now i turn up today and lose 2 balls that needs JCB diggers to find them and the other shots run about 3 inch after pitching. What a climate, the worlds going mad. I think a break from the game has made me lose all my bad habits too. Bring on the golf season

you mean you pay more than a tenner for a round of golf ? Crikey o Riley. For £6.20 i got to play in a Sludge Fest. It was ace. The next thing you'll be telling me is these posh courses have ball cleaners next to the tee. Never heard such nonsense.
Off to clean me wellies.
