Changing Seasons, Changing Balls!

Posted by: user20126 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Fri 2nd Oct 2009 12:49 | Last Reply

Just wondered how many people will be changing the golf ball they use now that Autumn is here?

I've played most of the summer using Pro V1's and I normally change to NXT Tour, Callaway or Srixon.

When the greens are wet and will hold a pebble if it's hit correctly you don't need the softness of a Pro V1.

So do you change your golf ball to match the weather?

Yes,

Horsforth gets very wet during the winter so in come the "bricks" or NXT's too.

My handicap - VERY high - says it would make no diff whatsoever. As I like the feel of a softer ball I'll tend to stick - hate that feeling hitting a brick on the green...
