Net double bogie or 10

Posted by: user16106 | Tue 20th Feb 2007 23:06 | Last Reply

What do most of you score yourself if you pick up "blob" a hole. IE dont score it in stableford. I give myself a net double bogie so I would just miss out on a point seems a bit more realistic than a 10, just for analasis purposes only.

Nett double bogey is fine, as long as you don't score points or affect your handicap which nett db doesn't.

The 10 for a blob text was added to make it easier for anyone to record a blob, especially if people didn't understand nett double bogey.  I'll update the text.

Technically as well in comps the nett double bogey rule should apply.

Cheers,
Darren.

It also helps to save time, when you're running a big comp.

Ive helped run them before. Nothing worse than seeing someone putt out a 9 or 10
