frustration

Posted by: user119312 | Thu 27th Aug 2009 08:44 | Last Reply

because i cannot hit woods at all and i can hit irons a lot better

i was trying my dads 3 iron off the tee and it seemd to work

considering i was 6'' away from a hole in one on a 195yrd par 3 yesterday

which was really frustrating but then again i should be happy because i got my first birde

Horrible that isn't it!  Two of us hit the flag in a four ball on the same par three last year and neither dropped.  So frustrating.  And a few weeks earlier I hit the flag with my second on a par four and it stopped two inches from the hole.  Never been gutted to get a birdie before!

It's the beauty of golf Alex.  No matter how good your shot, you always think "If only...."

Frustration is not being able to play at all. Had cortizone injections this morning in my right shoulder but am not holding out much hope that they will work.

especially for a man who used to play the game to a very high standard - now the mind wants to but the body cant!

Fingers crossed they do work John.
