One Happy Golfer

Posted by: user249902 | Sat 22nd Aug 2009 22:57 | Last Reply

blowing my own trumpet here a little but

played a round at Hatchford Brook GC, Birmingham this afternoon and posted my lowest ever card.

only lost one ball, which resulted in a penally, and finished with a repestable, although not brilliant 102.

hopefully not too many rounds before i break that magic 100 barrier.

102 might not sound too lowm but i have only been playing about 4 months and have only layed about a dozen or so rounds

I shot a 93 this morning which included a 42 front 9 OMFG that was brilliant!

Just shows Daz that 96 for many is a great score !!!

96 for many of us is Andy.

However when your hc gets down to 10 and your aiming for single figures, your hoping to shoot in the low 80's and maybe even sub 80.

Saying that, even the pros get it wrong sometimes.......

Nice to see it's getting there Bob.  I learnt my golf on the back 9 at Hatchford Brook (first hour on the Brmingham munis you can just turn up and play the back 9 without booking) and it's a great course to improve your golf on.  Few more games and you'll be sub-100 and not even realise it until you add up at the end.

Congratulations on a great round for yourself.

Once you break the magical 100 you'll find that you will do it on a regular basis.
