Christopher That's similar to a game I sometimes play, only I call it a round of golf. 1st tee to 9th fairway to 8th green to 2nd fairway to 1st green. Usually via a small coppice!

A friend of mined belonged to a club, where they had a cross country tournament every year. Playing the course across fairways and over or under trees. Great for creating new shots.
