contacts

Posted by: user16742 | Mon 10th Aug 2009 11:30 | Last Reply

With the current weather im contemplating trying contacts again, tried before but had trouble getting them out.

How do the other visually challenge people on here cope?

At the moment i ware reaction lenses whic are good but they tend to go dark even when its not bright sunshine and take a while to go back when it clouds over. Then with the winter months coming up all the rain is a pain to.

Do you lot wear contacts and how dificult are they?

I tried some becomes I believe that you don't quite hold your head right due to the bottom of the lense impacting your ball view with a correct posture, thus resulting with a slightly incorrect head position.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the bl**dy things in and gave up wasting £30 for my trouble

I wear the reactalite glasses and wear a Sun-visor when it rains. Wider rim on a Sun-visor, rather than an ordinary cap. I also use anti-mist wipes to clean my lens.

I wear daily contacts and would struggle playing with glasses ,they are a bu@@er to get use to initially but persevere it's worth the effort,It does become very easy to put in and take out.

I tend to wear the wrap around style light tinted sunglasses  to prevent  the wind from drying my lenses out.
