Gtour latest news and next event

With 4 events now complete the Gtour series is really hotting up with those competing for the overall Order or Merit prize.  We have also had one player be the first to compete in more the 3 events and give themselves a great chance to compete for the top spot!   The next stop on the Gtour takes place in a weeks time at De Vere Belton Woods near Grantham and looks set to be a great event with a fantastic confirmed turn out so far and should see a high points tally on offer towards the Order of Merit 2009.  Don't forget you can compete in just the Belton Woods event for the individual prizes and we have a great overnight option from only £99 including 2 rounds of golf.     After that the tour moves South again with a visit to Mannings Heath and entry is only £35.  Remember that there are only a few events left to get your 3 qualifying rounds in which count towards the Order of Merit 2009.       Just by taking part in an individual event we have great prizes up for grabs. Must say that i'm enjoying it so far and i'm 12th which is good for me, hope i do alright on saturday to push myself up, looking for a top 10 finish at the end of the tour

Hi Guys

Been a while since i posted on Golfshake, Most of the regulars will probably think im a newbie but some of the oldies should know me.  Anyway for those of you who dont know me I run the Gtour and thought i'd popped my head in to this thread.

Dan, we are so glad that you are enjoying the tour so far and well done on your rounds played so far this season. I look forward  to seeing you again on Saturday

Marc, thanks for the feedback and great idea. This is the first year for the gtour and plans are already underway for next years which of course will be bigger and better  

local leagues and regions are definately in the mix along with hundreds of other ideas plus we are getting feedback from the tour players at each and every event on what they would like to see at future events and on next years tour.

Please join one of our remaining events this year, you dont have to compete for the order of merit in this first year, and let us know what you think.
