Glove or no glove?

also as a beginner which would benefit me the most

No glove
A golf glove is only used to help in hanging on to the club when it is being swung with passion.
As a light grip is needed in order to putt well, no glove is needed or of benefit.

No glove. I find that I can 'feel' the distance much better without. Most pros take the same approach. I also take the glove off when chipping around the green for the same reason.

HI Robert , personally i dont use a glove at all , i feel it gives me better feel over all shots , putting though i think you'll get better results without a glove , you'll get more feedback through putter face without a glove on also aswell with chipping around green , what ever you decide to do , good luck and happy golfing

I don't wear a glove when putting, chipping or for bunker shots.
The reason is that I think that I get more 'feel' for the shot without a glove on.
For my drives and approach shots I wear a glove for the extra grip they give.

With a grip like yours, Danny, I am not surprised.

Just started to remove my glove in and around the green and it does seem to make a difference, but a lot of this game is played in the head so who knows really?

I've never worn a glove with the result that you get bad callouses on the left hand after a days practising.
