courses in ayrshire

I am going to be working in Scotland this week and as we are working nights we will be playing 4 rounds of golf sunday to thurs (playing Gleneages wed) and wondered if anyone could recommend any courses in the ayrshire / renfrewshire area from £15-£40

I'd definately try Loch Green municipal in Troon, its a great course for the money and you can have a poke round Royal Troon afterwards.  Also its more expensive, a lot more expensive actually, but  if you fancied going over budget there is a course round by Troon called The Gailes which is just a real joy to play, proper links golf and a very humbling course to play if you stray off the fairways.   there are a lot of courses like that around Troon / Ayr. there is a website dedicated to Golf in south Ayrshire I think its called. that have all the information you need
