hybrids

i cant hit a wood off the tee at the moment  so i am using a 23 degree cobra a friend suggested i get a 16 degree cobra so it would go further anybody got any views on this

A 16 degeree hybrid will be pretty difficult to hit and would produce a real low penetrating ball flight. I f you have a 23 degree that is a 4 iron replacement so why not get the 21 degree a 3 iron replacement. it will give you a bit more distance but still keep your control. You would still never achieve the same distance from a 16 degree 1 iron replacement hybrid than a 3 wood and at your handicapp if you hit a decent 21 degree hybrid down the fairway there is no need for much more distance.

I use a 17 degree Nike Sumo 2, it is cracking bit of kit and is better out the rough stuff than anywhere else! I try not to use it too often.
