going down in loft

i was having a conersation with my uncle about getting a less lofted driver

he said i should be carefull and not go down to 10.5

does anyone know why he might have said this?

exept from the fact the ball my go to low

The lower the loft the less forgiveness in the club.  This means that a 10.5 is more likely to slice than an 11.5.  If you suffer with a 'power fade' a lower loft will make it worse.
