Adding a scorecard

Posted by: user246176 | Sun 12th Jul 2009 02:00 | Last Reply

It appears the adding a new course option in unavailable at this time but it says that if a course is not available you will be able to add a scorecard.  When i click on Add Scorecard only a course search option is available.  Can anyone tell me how to add a scorecard?

Thank you.

Any moderators know how to add a scorecard for a course that does not exist in the database?  Just played this morning and would love to enter my stats.

River Pointe Golf Course, 11333 FM 2759, Richmond, TX 77469, the website is www.riverpointegolf.com.  I have a scorecard if you need the specific hole information.

Thanks, I searched several times but couldn't locate it.

Hi Ryan,

I'm not too certain on this but it could be that you are trying to add a course that is not in the United Kingdom.

I've not come across this problem before but I'm in the UK so wouldn't!!

I wonder if an Admin could add it?

Ryan,

There are two Riverpointe Golf Clubs. The other is in South Georgia, have a look at there cards. Turnberry was listed as in Lothian Scotland until it was changed to Ayrshire.

The one I am looking for is in Texas, near Houston.  No big deal, I'm sure there is some free scoretracking software I can download on my pc. Cool site though, it's just that I play this one course 90% of the time so i was looking for a way to keep track of my handicap and stats.

Ryan we will add it today.  As you have stated above you can't add a club or course but can add scorecards.  This is of no use if the club doesn't exist

Due to many many duplicated getting into the system and us storing 27,000 courses and 15,000 score cards we decided to remove the add club/course option to try and tidy the data and also cut the maintenance load.

Will advise once this is available.

Regards, Darren.
