Playing again

Hi, I have just returned to golf after a 14-15 year layoff. I used to be a 14 handicap player but will now have to get mine back again (probably nowhere near 14). I used to use Ping Eye 2 irons and woods but sold them in 1994. I have just bought a set of Ping Eye 2+ Copper Berylliums and 1, 3, 5 and 7 Ping Eye 2 woods which I think are brilliant. I tried Callaway Big Bertha's but I still prefer the old Ping clubs. I live in Dorset, am 67 years young and will be joining either Canford Magna or Crane Valley clubs soon. If anyone knows these courses maybe they could give me some advice.

Thanks

Brian

PS I am also Welsh

Welcome to the site and getting back into golf.

Being Welsh is not a handicap at this game!

Welcome Brian, good to see you're back in the game.

Mr Ley is Dave Ley, a Welsh lead roofer from the Cardiff area who is a regular on here.  Since he plays off 6.8 at the moment, it appears the Welsh are capable of more than singing and chasing sheep!

I figured you'd gone back to golf as you'd got too old to chase after the sheep now Brian.....
