Four Birdies!
Today was the first time in my life that I have had four, yes FOUR birdies in one round of golf.
On three other rounds I've managed to have three birdies.
I shot 78 on a par 70 course (SSS 69) playing off 13 (12.8)
As well as the four birdies I also managed eight pars.
Everything was going well and if I could have shot a par on the three blob holes I would have shot 72!!!
To make this round even better I had a birdie, birdie, birdie, par finish.
My handicap has gone down by one stroke to 12 (11.8), this is the lowest handicap I've had ever.

Sorry, forgot to mention the improvement in my driving as well.
On the fourth hole (345 yard Par 4) I hit my drive and when I got to my ball my GPS said I had 25 yards left to the center of the green! So a mighty blow from me then.
Later on in the round I hit a 300 yard drive.
John Pettitt must take some credit for this improvement.
John came over to my course early last week and he told me that when I was hitting a poor shot it was because I hadn't completed my swing.
So today I made certain that I completed my swing on all my full shots.
It certainly made a difference today.

Fantastic Russ. I'll be coming to you for some tips soon. 4 in one round? I'd be lucky to get 4 in 10 rounds at the moment. Hope it keeps up for you.

Why am I not surprised one little bit. Russ is the first person who had asked me to look at their swing that stopped me in my tracks, as there was nothing he needed to change, especially on the range. On the course things were a little different, like we all can be, but I made a suggestion that seems to have been successful. No one flukes four birdies Russ or the eight pars. Very well done indeed.

Well done Russ. Interesting to note that the driving got a mention as that is a key factor for me also: if I'm driving well and keeping it in play I always seem to score well. Nice of you to acknowledge JP's input.

B@#~!t!
Nice shooting Russ. I got two birdies in one round for the first time last week (including a 40 foot putt on the 18th) and was well happy with that. Four in a round is the staff of dreams. Well done mate.

Well done Russ,
That's the scoring of a pro!! You'll be disappointed now if you don't average at least 2 birdies each round
I'm glad your not / was in my qualifying region!
