Handicap Question

Posted by: user233003 | Fri 19th Jun 2009 18:45 | Last Reply

Had a round of 83 today, my lowest since I've been back playing golf after a 19 year layoff. My handicap is 21.3. I was only playing in general play, but i dont want to start being know with that dreaded 'b' word, so I handed the card in to get myself cut. I know I need to know the sss to work out how many shots I will be cut, but I'm sure this will be either 70 or 69. The bit I dont understand & need help with is the amounts you get cut for each shot under the sss. I do know I get cut 0.4 for each shot under at my current handicap, I just wondered if anyone knew at what point it changes to 0.3, 0.2, 0.1 per shot...I'm guessing it goes down to 0.3 around the 18 mark.

I will find out next time I play....I'm just itching to know what my handicap will be, thx in advance to anyone who can help.

Have a look on the CONGU website, they explain all this over there.

This is pretty much inline with CONGU and club golf handicaps
