Suggestion/Request

Just a thought, perhaps some of you more experienced golfers could post some meanings to the terms and abreviations associated with golf.

More for the newbies like myself and maybe others that don't know to much!

I think it would be really helpful especially for me to understand certain terms.

Example = DRAW = WHEN THE BALL BENDS IN FROM RIGHT TO LEFT (I THINK/WAS TOLD/OR HEARD) but if wrong it's the perfect example.

Example = Blob = ????

Example = Fade = ????

the more the better.

Regards Mehmet (turk)

Draw is correct, Fade would be the opposite (Left to right) and blob is a term used in stableford competitions when you can't score points on that particular hole.. i.e. SI 1, par 4, (28 handicap) you'd get the following = 4 (nett eagle) would be 4 points, 5 (nett birdie) would be 3 points etc until you get an 8 which you wouldn't get any points for.  This is referred to as 'blobbed the hole'..

Hope that isn't too confusing!
