630%! Any body care to have a go at explaining this statistic? If I normally do 60 puts in a round does that mean I'll do less than 10 with this putter? Hmm.

I think they base it on the fact, if you have only  one  one put a round, then have 7 with this putter, then you've made a 600% improvement. I think.

Yes, it is legal as it is a training aid. It would not be legal to have a laser aimed putter in competition. I can see how this will help if you have a basic problem with aim and alignment. I can also see how it would help with confidence, and I have to say confidence is a big part of putting, the ability to do your best on every put and then move on, whatever the result. However, I have found that if greens were as true as my TV room carpet, I would not be missing anything under 10 foot. Funny that out on the course I can miss a 2 footer.
