Tapedup club

Whats the rules in a comp about playing with a club that is taped up.
Basically im testing a rescue club from the pro shop  that the pro has taped up,  whats the rules about this in a comp.

 Its amazing g10 24 goes about 210 yard and straightish, only problem is it will be the same loft as my new 4 iron so may have to go for the 21 degree one when i buy it

As you are interfering with the face of the club I would imagine it is not allowed.

But don't take my word for it as I am diabetic anyway....

My wife and daughter are going tonight or today as its early doors.

I would suggest checking lofts in hybrid clubs as the loft varies between so called similar clubs.

I would also recommend the Nike Square Hybrid, so good it feels like cheating!
