Bill Beaumont Pro-Am Golf Classic

Hi all,

A little post to let you know that the 30th Bill Beaumont Pro-Am Golf Classic will take place on Thursday 9th July at the excellent Hillside Golf Club in Southport.

The event is an important fundraiser for the Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People (LACYP), which organises events for young people across the North West of England throughout the year www.lacyp.org.

The day includes an excellent lunch and a presentation dinner hosted by former England rugby hero Bill Beaumont to round off in style. We've been lucky to get support from the likes of Alan Hansen and others in past, and we hope to get a really good mix of amateurs and pros on the day.

Is this the same Event that was a The Northern PGA Pro-Am in the past. I've played in that one but remember it as "The Boys Club".
