Ideas for Bonus Points

Dear all.

I am organising a three round event (in a day) in mid June, promoted within the club as EnduroGolf. Any other suitable names would be welcome.

But I would like each event to have a bit of a twist somewhere. The first round is a 4BBB with a joker hole that will score double points. 

Any other ideas for twists along this theme would be most welcome.

Someone told me a good idea the other day.  They were playing 36 holes in one day in a friendy comp and each player was given a single yellow ball.  Each player could use that ball on up to 9 of the 36 holes and on each hole he used it he scored double stableford points.  However - if the ball was lost - that was it for the double points.

Double or quits.

At the beginning of a hole, a player can declare double or quits for that hole (once per round or per 9 holes).  At the end of the hole he can either add one other player's score to his own or force one of them to take a blob.
