Sad News

Posted by: user202037 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Fri 1st May 2009 23:35 | Last Reply

Just heard that a 19yr old possible Walker Cup players has died in a road crash.

Ben Enoche was on his way from his Welsh home to Lancashire for an Amateur Tournament when his car hit a Trailer yesterday (Thursday).

Many of us travel 1000's of miles to play our beloved game and this poor lad has had his life cut short. My thoughts when I hit a bad shot for the next few months will be, "Ben would have loved to have been here hitting that shot".

Now that really is sad news.

So young and so much to look forward too!

Sad news, and only two years older than my lad which really puts it into perspective.  Thoughts with the family.

Puts things into perspective that news.

I was pi$$ed off about playing crap yesterday but can't wait until tomorrow just to get out on the course & if I play $#!t again who cares.

Best wishes to the family
