Filling in the scorecard

Posted by: user222023 | Fri 1st May 2009 09:07 | Last Reply

Please advise - I have just joined the site and currently have no handicap as i only have entered 2 scores.

Yesterday I hit 106 including an 11 on a par 4(SI.8) -I have entered the score for the hole as 11 and am not sure if this is correct.

Reading some of the stuff I have got confused - ie. max for a hole is 2+ of the nett par. Does this mean if I assume a handicap of 18 i should put 7 on the card?

Look forward to someones help

regards

Ian

Ian enter what you score, this will give you a true reflection of your game.

The nett double bogey rule relates to the handicapping system and is normally used when you don't finish a hole abd pick up ie blob.  Thus the nett double bogey rule is the first score you could have had without gaining any stableford points or any reduction towards your handicap.

Welcome to the site.

The scorecards are easy, just put in the number of strokes you actually took for each hole.

Once you have done this the system will work out your scores, and if need be will adjust your handicap.
