Anyone played in Iceland?

Was wondering if anyone has experience of golf in the midnight sun?
We are planning a holiday to Iceland in the summer, while the exchange rate makes it cheaper!
Apparently their best course is on a small island just off the coast. Need to go on a ten minute flight to get there but supposedly well worth the trip if the brochure is to be believed.

Sounds like my wife's nightmare.....being able to play golf anytime

One of the guys from Roundhay spent some time in Iceland and he said it was an experience that he was glad to have. He's a Pro in Germany now but spent a year as Assistant at Reykjavikur GC and played in a Tournament at Akureyri GC. He said you couldn't believe how they loved their Golf and how many Clubs Iceland had.
