caddy aid- how do u get gps to work?

can anyone advice, i hae caddyaid gps software downloaded onto a HP 4700hx PDA, with a tom tom mk 2 wireless receiver. I hae tried everything to get GPS to work, but when i do test it keeps saying the Gps software is not connected -- clear view or configurations blah blah.

THe same equipment works fine as a sat nav.

Any advice?????/ 

Did you get this fixed? I'm surprised that they were not able to talk you through the settings!
