Liverpool Golf Courses
Hey all,
I am meant to be helping organise a stag do in Liverpool which will involve a bit of golf playing. I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on some courses. There will be a mix of handicaps 9-28 and we are looking for a bit of a deal too. Also we would be looking at reasonable traveling from the city centre.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated!!!
Joe

Are people really that wound up that a remark like that get 's there back's up??
Did Harry Enfield get an ear bashing for his portrayal of scousers??

take it as it's meant to be, a joke.
If you've ever been to any stand up comedians are you the type to stand up & object to such jokes?

A lot of things are said as a joke. You can normally know when something is said in jest, but personal attacks by strangers is another matter. If we could only say what will not offend anyone, the world would be a silent place and these Forums wouldn't exsist.
I would only say, If you can't take the banter don't give it!
The joke about the guy who gets a puncture and while he is changing the wheel sees another guy in the car. "What you doing?" he asks. "If your having the wheels I'm having the Radio". That started out in Liverpool, moved via Leeds and Newcastle and is now back in Liverpool because the accent makes it funnier.

Matt,
everybody get stereo typed in some sort of way. I get it because I'm left handed, because I'm from Birmingham etc. Whenever I go on holiday & people here my accent I get the usual "yaw alright mate, yam ok aye yay" I don't get offended by this, it's a JOKE a bit of light hearted banter that breaks the ice.
I could understand if your constantly getting picked up by the police everytime there's a break-in?

I was not aware they were that thin skinned from Liverpool.

Sorry Matt but on this one you are wrong.
I am a Scot and don't mind the banter as long as it is indead banter which it was.
I have lived down south and took some abuse but it was friendly, If you think that was serious abuse you have heard nothing.
Come on i know you know it was banter. behave.

Martin,
A good Saturday night out is a few pints and a good punch-up isn't it? Or is that the Irish? Or the Geordies? No there's a Curry in there somewhere. Oh I can't get all these stereotypes.
