Favourite Male and Female Golfers
Hello everyone i would like to say happy new year and hope you all have a good golfing year.
this is my first forum post and i would like to know your favourite Male and Female professional Players.
Mine are:
six time major champion Nick Faldo which i know he's playing less golf these days but i still support him because he is my idol since i was little and first saw him win the Agusta Masters in 1990.
My favourite Female professional golfer is 17 year old Michelle Wie which i have been watching since she turned pro last year through the Golf Channel UK on Sky. i think that she will be the greatest female player when she becomes more older. i believe that if she wasn't under so much presure by the press then she will start winning tournaments within the LPGA Tour and i am hoping that she will win a Major championship this year.
I look forward to reading your replies
Happy Golfing for 2007.

Ernie Els. Just love to watch that big easy swing.
Natalie Gulbis. For obvious reasons.

I meant to add she's a great golfer too. Not won on the LPGA tour as of yet, but with sorrensen winning more than tiger does on the PGA, its not supprising. At 24, she's still got time on her hands.

You cant blame someone for looking good. Wie, and Gulbis are both great golfers, just no where near as great as Sorenstam. Just as not many men golfers are as good as Tiger these days. In my opinion, thats what makes, and will always make Nicklaus better than Woods. When Jack played, he competed with other greats, such as Player and Palmer.
As for women entering Mens comps and missing cuts, I think Annika done that a few times too.

I've refrained from posting a direct link to the womens golf calendar for 2007 but Chris is right about the bikini calendar's.
Alright they may look good but should they be using this to promote golf and even themselves.

Why not? David Beckham has been doing the same for years.
