Talyormade R5?

Posted by: user30119 | Thu 4th Jan 2007 15:11 | Last Reply

Hi as anyone out there got or tried either the D or N type? I'm currently using a Ram Concept 10.5 degree which I hit well but like everyone I want to move with the times.

I've found the N type at www.onlinegolf.co.uk for 119.99 with 9.5 loft with a M.A.S. 5-65 (65g) Low Torque Graphite Shaft.

Anyone with experience in buying drivers please help as i'm not sure of a change in loft and have no experience in shaft types.

Mark

I have a 9 degree driver. But I hit a very high ball, too high in these conditions, hit a full  Iron on tuesday that only went 50 yards.

driver was never a strong part of my game Wayne until I had a couple of lessons in feb and I couldnt believe the results. He told me it was all about getting the weight onthe right side on the backswing and making sure to transfer it through contact.

The driver I use is 10.5degree and I hit high with it but im prone to a good slice at times but all said pretty relaible.

Just dont think my game can improve without a step up inthe driver market

Wayne. My set up is pretty good, a pro told, I just hit a high ball, some people do. It comes in handy when hitting a small target.

Mark. If that works, then stick with it. Why bog yourself down with to much information. As Homer [Simpson that is] once said. ''every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?''
