Clone Clubs

Posted by: user46556 | Thu 4th Jan 2007 12:27 | Last Reply

Has anyone ever used them, there are many clone clubs out there for a fraction of the price of new ones.

Especially like these new square drivers for example http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SQUARE-DRIVER-SV3-FUJIKURA-VISTA-PRO-SHAFT_W0QQitemZ150076953554QQihZ005QQcategoryZ115280QQssPageN

Whats the opinion for a new golfer?

I've had a set of Callaway Copies for 2 years now, you can see the quality of the materials are not as good as the real thing, and the finish is to them are not as good. at the time though I only had arround 200 for a set of Irons, and that price included them being custom fitted.

Now MD golf seem to be making great gear, that competes with the big boys, at a fraction of the cost. The superstrong 3 and 5 wood I have, feels as good as the ping G5's. It has the Pro Launch blue Grafalloy shaft. So my next set of Irons, will be the MD tungsten Ti's.

All can say Paul is that the MD fairway woods are very good. My step Brother has all the Ping G5 stuff, and he says they feel as good. The difference is, is that he is a member of The London Club, and has plenty of money.
