I think they are fine if you know what you want. Having seen some of the comments from other people it appears that Direct Golf will try and push you to buy certain brands as they are the sole outlet for them. If you know you want the Wilson Staffs then there shouldn't be a problem. I have bought things from them before (knowing what I wanted before going in) and there was no problem.

Richard's comment is smack on. I bet you 20p if you went in and said you'd received that mail but wanted to try them first they'd suggest hitting some Adams to compare them to and that you would like the Adams better!

Chris, you forgot to mentioned John Letters and Hot Blade !
Mel, I am vocal detractor of Direct Golf and their tendancy towards pushing their tied brand, however, this is very much varies between staff members and stores. I have found that the "pro" who looks about 12, or am I getting old ?, tends to push the tied gear (on commission I suppose) whereas the older, wiser, "pro" is less inclined in that way. I have also been told that it varies between store.
My recommendation and this applies to Direct Golf, American Golf, Nevada Bob etc, is that you go to one (or all) of these stores and try as many clubs as you can, make a decision. Come home do some research, make some calls and buy them from the cheapest.

Huddersfield are having a Marque Sale with sets of Irons from £25 soon. If they have what you want, your quids in.
The great thing about Stores like Direct Golf is that you can buy 12 month old stuff thats "Out of Date" at very low prices.
