How much is your club membership?

My membership is about to run out at my golf club and the renewal rate this year is �850!!!!! Thats in Nottingham (not London!!)

Just wondered how much some of you are paying for your memberships? Does this figure seem high? Time to look for somewhere cheaper I think!!

perhaps you should consider a move to Northumberland, the proposed fee for 2007 at my club is �392 an increase of only �12. there was a joining fee of �360 in the first year but that can now be paid over 3 years which makes it easier, although of coarse it do'es tie you in for 3 years
