North v South - staying at hotel Sunday 19th??

So who's staying at Wokefield Park on the Sunday night before the NvS comp??  Sending cheque off today to seal my place... It will be my first Golfshake event so will be good to meet some of you on the Sunday for a friendly round before the main event on the Monday when us Southerners romp to glory!!!

Obviously happy to share fun and beverages with the 'opposition' on the Sunday, as come Monday we all know the rules..... Show No Mercy!!!!

Yes, Jim, I am local to the course although I have never played it. Another long one, which I tend to avoid, buit the hotel is very nice and the course does look in nice condition. I am quite sure we will all have a wondeful time and though I will not play on the Sunday, because I wish to save my strength for the Monday, I will probably join you all for drinks and possibly dinner on the Sunday evening.

I will be stopping and bringing the little lady along.  She'll be the drunk and noisy one with Rosa. 

When the North fills up it's quota David you'll have to take up a Ryder Cup-esque non-playing captain's role.  You can be the South's Monty!!! 

All I can say is that it serves you right for playing silly buggers!  And don't come back with some half-soaked goal-post moving argument.  You should've stopped messing about and got your name down.  You might have to pull rank on Mashall Jnr and nick his spot!

Paul, I even sent Darren a PM asking him if he could put some ficticious names in to fill it up, just  to put the frighteners on David. As a joke of course as we need our Captain.

Well, let us hope that it has not backfired on him to the extent that he does not play. That would be tragic and completely unnecessary when we kept on goading him to put his name down.

I'm planning to stay over. I'll need the practice round on Sunday to have half a chance on Monday.

Andy, I'm hoping you still have all those notes plus actual game notes this time   or maybe not if you are on the Southern team

I believe that Mr Astbury and myself will be there over night.
