Sure. I'm in treeton (Rotherham) and will venture pretty much anywhere within an hours drive. Can only play weekends though. Get your name down for the 3 counties winter league too.

Crookhill Park GC is a very nice public course, rated one of the best in the country and I agree with that.

Wheatley GC in Doncaster has the best greens I've ever played on, just like walking on a carpet, fantastic.

hi Gareth, i live just outside doncaster and am usually up for a round but i can only do weekends at the moment though will be ok over easter during the week. i see you've played Hickleton which is a course i really do like but will travel anywhere for a round to be honest.

Just for a bit of info for you guys, there is a course in Scunthorpe that I really like called Normanby Hall.

I don't think they have a website as I think it belongs to Scunthorpe Council.

A nice, mature parkland course.  Not too hard but not easy by any means. 

Well worth a visit in my opinion.

played it about 2 years ago and was impressed with the course layout and condition but it was busy and slow which was a bit of a drawback but well worth a look.

I'm hoping to get up to Doncaster a couple of times this year.

When I know I'm coming up I'll either join an event that has already been posted, or I'll create an event.
