Revised layout and site navigation

Just to let you all know I am working on some site tweaks, improvements, updates, bug fixes and enhancements.

You may notice that some of the previous quick links and navigation menus disappear but are hopefully replaced by navigation better than before !  I've reduced the top level secondary navigation and a lot more good stuff to increase usability will go live over the next few days.

Could you include a few more threads from the forum in your newest posts section, it's only got about five at the moment!

Before the change I could see what the last ten posts that had new comments to them.

That's how it should be.  As long as I don't do anything to upset anyone and hopefully just to make people happy, with the site of course, making things better

I've never noticed that link before John, I used to use the list on the side.

I'm not on here much so I must look around more.... lol

Russ, will expand to show a few more on the right hand side again.  On the actual posts, I have been noticing some large images so have trialled increasing the post size and reducing the links and info that shows.

Update:  Hot topics have been redefined and what used to be the Hot Topics are now active posts -

Active Posts - Posts that have been recently created or commented on

Hot Posts - Had certain numbers of replies and views plus newer than 60 days

As always feedback welcome and Moderators and Polls will be coming soon.

Plus to fulfill Dave's desires there is a whole host of new and updated stuff coming very soon !
