new home page

could anyone help me

i want to create a new home page for 2009 but i cant seem to get rid of all the stuff of 2008 i.e messages news etc and i dont want to start deleting things just yet till i get some advice on what to do........

i would also like to know how to get rid of group catagories and start all new ones plus it wont let me upload all last years final standings tables onto the news place or anywhere as it comes to that........

Hi Glynn, can you explain.  The data on the home page is rolling data so gets updated and replcaed with each new bit of content.  At present no way to clear the slate so to speak.

Did you know you can access the admin section of the society section and chance the home page to show the newsfeed then news/blog, or vice versa, or none or just one of the aforementioned.  This may be a way round.

 Let me know.
