So soon!!!

Well, here we go.

Winter has finally made its' mark at my course.

Phoned this morning to check on the condition of the course to be told that winter tees (boxes) are in use until the frost disappears. In other words, I cannot see the normal tees being used unless we have some warmer weather.

We don't do so bad with the greens, many remain playable throughout winter with the exception of one or two.

Anyway, had orders from HID this morning. Golf has to be put on the back burner for at least today as I have work to do! Keeps me in her good books though. She doesn't stop me playing golf very often. Not too bothered tbh, it's bloody cold out there! (wimps off and gets on with his domestic chores in the warmth of the house!)

Hi gaz. I live in leeds and this winter will be playing mostly at temple newsam. they have 2 courses and no winter greens. they say if its too frosty they will close one course and alternate them weekly.
